David Lee Navickas

David Lee Navickas, age 74 of Belville (Leland) died at Novant Hospital in Wilmington, NC on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  David was born on February 13, 1950 to Dorothy Navickas (deceased) and Leo Navickas (deceased) in Raleigh, NC. His son, Craig Navickas also preceded him in death.  Survivors include daughters, Christy Maynard (Lynn) of Benson NC and Heather Juarez (Samuel) of Florida. His grandchildren include Jaret, Brooklyn, Braylee, Zachary, and Liam. His sisters also survive him, Kathy Penny, Susan Hewett  and Melanie Laney. Also surviving David is a special friend, Betty Wolak.

David was retired from Retail Management after 40 years service. Despite his physical limitations of losing a leg, his love and determination to fish again was pushing him onward. David trusted Jesus at an early age.

A private service will be held later.

The family would like to thank the 7th floor Nursing staff for Room 737 and Palliative  and Hospice  for the care they showed David and our family.
