Clyde Hoots, Jr., 71, of Supply, NC passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Bolivia, NC following a lengthly illness.
Clyde was born in Yadkin County, NC, on September 5, 1952 and was the son of the late Clyde Hoots, Sr and Esterlene Salmons Hoots. He was predeceased by a special son-in-law, Jason Holden. “Jr” or “Hoots” as he was affectionatly known by many was a electrician and was owner and operator of Hoots Electric which specialized in boat lift wiring and repair.
Surviving are his wife Rose Andrews Hoots; his beloved daughter, Tricia H. Holden of Supply; step-daughters, Felicia Gray, Megan Gray of Supply; three sisters, Barbara Fox, Clara Martin, Nancy Walls all of Yadkinville, NC; grandchildren, Quinton Holden (Kayla) Savana Holden (Bryce), Summer Gray, Christopher Quick, Taylor Nixon, Michael Nixon; great grandchildren, Ta’Rayea Rose Andrews, Kinsley Nixon and Awani Hankins. Several nieces and nephews.
To honor Hoots wishes, a gathering of family and friends will be planned for a later date.
