He was a World War II Veteran serving proudly as a young Crew Chief on B-24 Bombers in Venosa, Italy. His love of airplanes led him to building racing planes with classmates at Lawrence Institute of Technology and then rebuilding a 1947 Stinson Voyager bush plane, renewing his pilot’s license, and flying well into his 70s.

He lived life to the fullest, enjoying time with his family and many friends. He made friends easily, and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family. We love you Dad.
