Charles Long Obituary

Charles Lindberg Long, age 63, of Port Canaveral, FL formerly of Supply, NC crossed the bar to the eternal sea on June 27, 2020 at Port Canaveral while preparing for a fishing trip.

Charles was born on the fifth of March 1957 to the late Charles Moore Long and Lucy Janette Smith Long of Supply. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady and Allen Long and a beloved niece, Ashley Long.

Surviving are two sons, Charlie and Patrick Long of Canada; his loving mother, Janette Long; his longtime girlfriend, Janet West; four brothers, Robert, C.M., Joey and Collie Long and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.

Charles was a lifelong fisherman, other than his devoted family, the Ocean was his heart and soul.

Services are Private.
