Charles P Gurreri

Charles Gurreri, 72, of Calabash, NC, died January 11, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1952 to Joseph and Bernice Gurreri in Bronx, NY. Charles graduated from S.U.N.Y. Farmingdale with a degree in criminal justice. He married on June 8, 1971 and had two children. He worked as an employee of the U.S. Postal service, where he retired as Postmaster after 36 years. 

He is survived by his beloved wife Debbie (Wilbur); his children Alison, Joseph (Joslynn); his sister, Denise Wuest (Bill); and his cherished grandchildren, Gabriella and Alexander.

Funeral services will be held on January 18, 2025, 2:00 pm, at Seaside United Methodist Church.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and kindness touched many lives and his legacy will live on through his family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seaside United Methodist Church music department.
