Carole (Gillespie) Schuster

Carole Gillespie Schuster, 70, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Bolivia, NC following a decline in health.

Carole was born in Albany, NY on July 19, 1955, and was a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Dae S. Bullock Gillespie.

Carole was past president of the Ladies Golf League and served on the Board of Directors of Ocean Ridge  Plantation.  

Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Carl Schuster; a brother, Keith Gillespie; a nephew, Andrew K. Gillespie (Jade), all of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Marci Pace (Jordan), their children, Siena, Pace and Lola; son, Michael Schuster (Susanne), their children, Keven Schuster, Brian Schuster (Zoye) and Catherine Schuster.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
