Cara "CJ" Jean (Williams) Williams

Cara Jean Williams of Carolina Shores, NC. passed away peacefully in her home on October 12, 2025. Cara Jean, or CJ as she was known to most, was born on December 2, 1943 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Ralph and Eula Williams. Although she lived in many places during her lifetime, she finally settled on the coast of North Carolina. She retired from Horry County Schools and spent her retirement days with her greatest love…family.

Cara Jean was pre-deceased by her parents and two sisters, Shirley and Pam, as well as her dearest friend Marcia Kleinman. She leaves behind her family Mark (Lisa) Kleinman of Weston Florida, and their children Michael and Matthew, Leah (Patrick) Connick of Shallotte North Carolina, and their children Ryan, Luke and Joshua. Jeff (Susan) Moore and their children Emily and Audrey, as well as other extended family and friends.

CJ will always be remembered as someone who enjoyed her life to the fullest and always wanted to put a smile on the face of everyone she met.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be private.
