Billy Ray Tyson

Billy Ray Tyson, 81, of Castle Hayne, NC passed away on Monday, November 2024 in Autumn Care of Shallotte, following a time of declining health. Billy was born in Wilmington, NC on September 29, 1943 and was a son of the late Grady and Eva Watson Tyson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Tyson, a daughter, Brenda Elizabeth Tyson, II, and a son, Billy Tyson, II.

Billy was retired from New Hanover County Public Utilities.

Surviving are a son, Frederick Tyson; a granddaughter, Hannah Howard Pait, (Brandon); and two great grandchildren, Grace Howard Pait & Abigail Pait.

In accordance with his wishes, a private celebration of life will be held in his memory.
