Betty Jean (Roach) Clemmons

Mrs. Betty Jean Clemmons, age 82, of Supply, NC died Thursday, February 19, 2026 . Born on April 3, 1943, in New Hanover County, North Carolina. 

Mrs. Clemmons was preceded in death her parents, Carvin Gardner Roach and Sudie Lee Roach. 

She is survived by her husband, James Lee Clemmons, Sr. of Supply; daughter, Rebecca Potter Clemmons, (James Lee Clemmons, Jr.)  of Supply; granddaughter, Rachel Bessent of Wilmington, NC, and great grandson, Landon Duncan. Betty left behind many family and friends as well. 

At the request of Betty's wishes the family wishes the family is doing a private celebration of life. 

Betty left an impact on the world like no other. She was an avid baker and all around amazing cook. She loved making people smile and laugh. You were always welcome at her dinner table. She truly had a heart like no other. She loved everyone. Betty had a passion for animals and helping those in need. She always took the strays in. In the summertime if you lived in Holden Beach you could find her working at Ludlum's Produce or tending her garden. 

May her memory bring peace and the same passion for life that she carried so beautifully. May we honor her by living with kindness, grace and courage each day.
