Barbara Burke Wetherington

Barbara Burke Wetherington, 87, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

Barbara was born in Baltimore, MD on March 3, 1938, and was a daughter of the late, Edmond and Margaret Schroeder Burke.

Barbaras cherished husband Ronald Hamlin Wetherington passed away in 2016.  Barbara and Ron spent many years in NJ and loved there summers in Avalon, NJ.

Barbara enjoyed bridge and lunching with her ladies, she also loved all her kitties and doggies. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her loving children, Kim Wetherington of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; Richard Wetherington and wife Valerie of Shalotte, NC , a brother, Richard Burke; grandchildren, Jean and Sarah and great grandchildren Ava & Piper.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
