Barbara J (Davis) Bowser

Barbara J Bowser, 90, of Southport, NC passed away at her home on Thursday, July 11, 2024 with family by her side.

Born in Brookville, PA, on May 21, 1934, Barbara was a daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle Joiner Davis. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jay Bowser, by a sister, Cass Walton, two brothers, John Davis, Jim Davis, a infant brother, Henry Jackson Davis, and a son-in-law, Charlie Sherman.

She was a loving Mother, Gramma, and GiGi. She spent the last few years traveling to her children's homes and spending time with them and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, John Bowser (Jill), Rodney Bowser (Cindy); two daughters, Martha Bowser, Cheryl Sherman; a sister, Virginia “Ginge” Rowan; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

To honor her wishes, no services will be held.
