Anthony "Tony" Jozefowicz, 73, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness on September 21, 2021.
Tony grew up in Sayreville, New Jersey and graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1966. He received a bachelor degree from Monmouth University and later went on to obtain his Masters in Education from Kean College in 1981.
Tony was devoted to being an Educator, Coach and Mentor, he taught history at Monroe Township High School in New Jersey before becoming a vice principal until his retirement in 2010. He was highly involved in his community and coached the Varsity Basketball team. He also coached his two sons in little league baseball and Ice Hockey.
Tony enjoyed watching and attending sporting events such as Nascar, college football, college basketball. He also enjoyed reading and cheering on his favorite hockey team, the New York Rangers.
Tony is survived by his wife Valentina Jozefowicz, of 49 years; two sons, Bryan Jozefowicz and his wife Gloria, Michael Jozefowicz and his wife Brittany; two granddaughters, Brooklyn Flowers and Madison Valentina Jozefowicz; a sister, Eileen Bomba and her husband Ziggy; niece, Kristine and husband Nicholas Turner and their children, Noelle and Preston Turner; a predeceased niece, Denise Bomba Glass and son Nathan.
At the family's request, services will be private.
