Annie Neal (White) Beattie

Annie Neal White Beattie, 86, of Jacksonville, NC formerly of Ash, NC passed away on the twenty sixth of August, 2020 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Wilmington, NC.

Born in Ash, NC on the twentieth of January 1934, Ann was a daughter of the late Jessie James and Maude Long White. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by sisters, Verma White Clemmons, Gerline White Coulter.

Ann was the owner/operator of Ann’s Tavern in Jacksonville for many years. In her later years, she enjoyed Bingo and spending time with friends at the local Moose Lodge and VFW Lodge.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Jack Ladson and wife Tina of Holden Beach, Albert Eugene Ladson and wife Tonya B. of Jacksonville, NC; a sister, Hazel Wiggins of Peoria, AZ; three grandchildren, B.J Ladson, II and wife Charity Dawn, of Calabash, NC, Rebecca L. Marsalone and husband Michael of Supply, NC, Frankie Lynn Cowart of Jacksonville, NC; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

It was Annie’s wishes to be a body donor and no services will be held at this time.
