Adriana Esposito Reed, age 69, of Carolina Shores, NC passed away on the morning of Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Adriana was born in Naples, Italy on July 5, 1954 and was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Iolanda Della Corte Esposito. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Giuseppina Esposito, a brother, Michele Della Corte and sister-in-law, Judy McDade.
Adriana had a degree in marketing and merchandising and received various accolades throughout her career.
She retired after forty-five years in the fashion industry, primarily in ladies apparel and ended her career owning a ladies boutique called Ms. E’s Place for ten years. She was a member of Andrew’s Chapel Global Methodist Church, Ash, NC. Adriana will be remembered for her involvement in many organizations throughout her life along with her passion for giving back to the community. She could often be found giving aid and support to anyone in need that she encountered.
Surviving are her devoted husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Reed of the home; a son, Albert Woodin and wife Natalie of Calabash, NC; three grandchildren, Alexandria (Collin Whitman) Woodin, Isabella Woodin, Vincenzo Woodin all of Calabash; a great-grandson, Gennaro Whitman of Calabash; four sisters, Maria Gewerth and husband Joe of Virginia, Anna Morvatz and husband Dave of Georgia, Rosalba Fristachi of Italy, and Valeria Esposito and husband Carmine of Italy; a brother, Gennaro Esposito and wife Teresa of Italy; two sisters-in-law, Joy Sickafoose and husband Stan, Jill Murphy and husband Rick; a brother-in-law, Randy McDade; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Andrews Chapel GMC, 1090 Hickman Road, Ash, NC 28420.
There will be another Celebration of Life held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Magnolia Methodist Church, 999 Canal Street, Magnolia, OH 44643.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Liberty Homecare and Hospice Services in Supply, NC.
