Winona "Sam" Causey Morgan died peacefully the morning of September 29th after a courageous battle with cancer. An incredible mother, wife, and grandmother, Sam's final days were spent surrounded by her loving family.

Sam was born on May 28th, 1951 in Myrtle Beach to the late Mary and Nathan Causey. She is survived by her husband Dwight "Buddy" Morgan, to whom she was married for 38 years.

Sam is also survived by her sons David (Sandra); William "Johnny" (Kathy); and Dwight "Trey" (Amy); and daughter Ashley Morgan (Andrew). Sam also leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Ashley, Kimberly, Johnathan, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Morgan, Elijah, Kayde, Andrew, and 3 great grandchildren: Ashtyn, Aidyn and Evan.

In addition to her parents, Sam is preceded in death by her brothers Reynold Causey, J.N. Causey, Jesse Causey and Hiram Causey.  She comes from a family of twelve 12 siblings that she loved very much.

Her many hobbies included cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids. While the family is broken hearted over their loss, they are forever grateful for the many years spent full of love, wisdom and happy memories.
