Walter Curtis “WC” Wilson, Jr., 70, of Kinston, NC formerly of Ash, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, following a time of declining health.

Born in Whiteville, NC “WC” was one of three children born to the late Walter Curtis Wilson, Sr., and Sally Jean Butler Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Christy Wilson, a sister, Sharon Creech and nephew, Justin Creech.

Surviving are a sister, Lynette Hawes and husband Alan; a brother-in-law, Travis Creech; a niece, Tammy Creech; and nephews, Shannon Long, Craig Creech, Cregg Creech, and Stephen Creech.
