Tonya Lee Buffkin, age 47, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Tonya was born in Kershaw County, SC on June 28, 1975, to Darlene Flowers "Dixie" Buffkin and the late Stoney Wayne Buffkin. Tonya held a couple of different jobs throughout her short life, but her favorite was being a homemaker and mother to her son Austin. Tonya had a positive attitude, an endless smile and shared her huge heart to her family and many friends.

Surviving are her beloved son, Austin Dale Norris; her mother, Darlene "Dixie" Buffkin both of Shallotte; a brother, Richard Buffkin of Holden Beach; sister in law, Lea Buffkin; the Flowers family; her significant other, Darrell White of Nakina; his children, Devin White (Erica Horne), Jaylene White and their children, Walker White, Ryleigh White, Carson Meighan, T.J. Meighan, Chandler Meighan and too many friends to mention.

Memorial services will be conducted at Two O'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in the Liberty Tabernacle Church, 380 Gray Bridge Road, Shallotte, NC with Pastor Deborah Blythe officiating.
