US Army Retired Staff Sergeant, Theodore "Ted" Higuera Brazell, age 68 of Supply, NC passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care "Brunswick House" following a time of declining health.

Ted was born in Fort Jackson, SC on January 8, 1956, and was a son of the late Theodore Hudson and Ana Delia Higuera Brazell. He was retired as Chief of Police of the Southern Shores Police Department, Dare County, NC and from the US Army.

Surviving are his loving wife of 8 years, Beverly Jane Starling Brazell of Supply; Siblings, Maria Wiggins and husband Kenneth, Paul Brazell and wife Sherry, Patsy Smith and husband, Charles, Margaret Hart and husband Wesley; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
