Teresa "Noona" Ann Hewett Rhodes, 67, of Shallotte, passed away on Thursday the seventh of January 2021 in the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC.

Born in Brunswick County, NC on the twentieth of February 1953, Teresa was a daughter of the late James Sidney and Tincie Ann Hewett. Her world revolved around her "Noona boys" and her beloved cats, Nugget & Jack. She was a retired longtime employee of Walmart and attended Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son Sidney Phillip Rhodes of Chapel Hill, NC; a daughter, Sara A. Hinson and husband Grant of Shallotte, NC; a sister, Rena Hewett Barnhill and husband Carroll of Leland, NC; grandchildren, Michael Rhodes, River Hinson, Triton Hinson; nieces and nephews, Timothy Baucom and wife Sommer, Angela Carter and husband Wayne, their children, Gabrielle Carter, her children Mya & Melanie Robbins, and Joshua Carter.

A private family memorial service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the sixteenth of January 2021 in Varnamtown and will be broadcast on the Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church facebook page  with The Reverend Bill Negron officiating.
