Teddi Lynn Jones, born 8/28/1956 in Glendale, CA., passed away on Tuesday 10/27/2026 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Bolivia, NC., following a battle with cancer.

Teddi was one of 4 children born to the late Frederick J. Asbell, Jr and Lillian L. Asbell (Legge). In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Jones and her sister, Karen Lee Sturma (Asbell).

Teddi retired from GMAC, where she was an executive assistant. She moved to North Carolina 3 years ago, to live by the ocean. She reconnected with her cousins and met some wonderful friends (The Wilmington Girls).

She is survived by her son Dustin Alan Jones and Granddaughter Kaydence Harmony Jones. Her siblings, William Asbell (Karen), and Gretchen Brown (Asbell). Her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. Dean Jones (Julie), Dolores Zweifel Jones (Hank), Debbie Holtschneider Jones (Matt) and Marilyn Jones. Teddi was a dear Aunt, Great Aunt and Cousin to many.
