Stewart Lavern Babson, age 60, of Holden Beach, NC formerly of Ash, NC passed away on Saturday the second of January in the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC after a brief illness.

Born in Whiteville, NC on the fifteenth of April 1960, Stewart was a son of the late Frankie and Judy Formyduval Babson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Babson. Stewart was a farmer and logger for many years.

Survivors include a son, Shane Babson of St. Louis, MO; a sister, Pat Long and husband Neil of Ash, NC; a brother, Ashley Babson and wife Denise of Supply, NC; two grandchildren, Austin Babson, Tyler Babson and nieces and nephew, Mia Babson of Supply, Aimee Paine and husband Christopher of Hampstead, Eric Long and wife Erica of Supply.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, graveside services will be announced at a later date.
