Shamie Jean "Shay" Robertson, 39, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Saturday, the nineteenth of March 2022 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Brunswick House after an extended illness.

Born in New Hanover County, NC on January 12, 1983, Shay was a daughter of the late Samuel B Edwards, Jr., and Mrs. Theresa Baines Edwards of Shallotte.

Shay was a lady who loved all genres of music, all animals and enjoyed Art.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Theresa are two sons, Alec Hughes of Boone, NC, Ian Robertson of Burlington, NC; a sister, Nadean Bryant and husband Randall of Houston, TX; a brother, Shannon Edwards of Little River, SC and her fur-baby Alby and hamster Mita.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday in the Jennies Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Christian Williams officiating.
