Mrs. Sachiko Nakagawa Jackson, born on August 28, 1930 passed away in Southport, NC on October 16, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her husband John A. Jackson.

Originally from Sado Island Japan, she met her husband, SFC John A. Jackson a native of Carthage NC while working for the US Army in Camp Zama Japan where he was stationed.  They were married in 1956 in Japan and resided in Japan and California.  Mrs. Jackson retired at age 79 following 40 years of service with Bank of America.  Mrs. Jackson leaves behind three children; Kenneth R. Jackson (Tina) of Southport, NC, Andrew Ronald Jackson (Melissa) of Los Banos CA, and Michie Ailene Jackson of San Jose CA.  Mrs. Jackson also leaves behind a sister, Mrs. Yoko Toda of Yokohama Japan.  In addition to the children, Mrs. Jackson leaves 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jackson will be interned with her husband at the Post Cemetery, Fort Bragg, NC.
