Roseann Patricia Edwards, 55, of Ash, NC passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 following a long illness in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born in Yonkers, NY on the twenty second of July 1967, Rose was a daughter of Vincent Marcel Augustine and the late Patricia Catherine Carroll. Rose was a longtime employee of Sam Edwards Tax Services.

Rose was always full of life. Willing to make someone laugh or talking about how her and her sister always got in trouble and how their mom and dad would drive around to find a random house in the middle of nowhere and leave them to live there.

Roseann was a loving Christian, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Though, she was all of these, she always lit up the room when she walked in. Also known as the life of the party. She always found a way encourage and support her family and friends. Rose was never ashamed of who she was or to show how she felt. Rose had a big heart.

Roseann and David were married for 33 years they always found a way to make it to the beach, enjoying the outdoors, fishing, boating, and making memories together with their children. Once her children were grown, she found and acquired two fur babies Fritz and Oscar. She loved to take them on walks at the dog park or letting them run around the yard.

Roseann was not just any grandma in town, she was Gma too young to be a grandma just yet. Gma always took her grandchildren Emma, Junior, and Piper out on adventures some of which were the beach to swim, collect seashells, and build sandcastles. Ferry trips across the water way to the aquarium or up to the Asheboro Zoo to watch her grandkids have a good time. The last adventure she took with her grandkids was horseback riding. Although gma never liked her picture being taken she was always ready for a chance to make memories with her family and friends.

Surviving are her father, Vincent Marcel "Pops" Augustine of Sulfur Springs, NY; her loving husband, David A. Edwards; a son, Andrews Edwards; two daughters, Alissa Holland and husband Cody, Elizabeth Kaufhold; a sister, Diane Strunk and husband Patrick; three grandchildren, Junior Templeton, Emma Frye and Piper Holland.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 17, 2022, in the Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Rd., NW, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469.
