Rita Gaddy Tucker, age 65, of Southport, NC (Boiling Spring Lakes), formerly of Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, "Brunswick House".
Born in Lynchburg, VA, on September 28, 1958, Rita was a daughter of the late Robert Gaddy, Sr. and Avis Doss Gaddy.
Rita was a retired school teacher and had worked in the Indian Hollow Elementary School.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel T. Tucker and a son, Kevin Burkes.
No local services will be held.
