Richard "Rick" Horton Holley, age 76, of Whiteville, NC formerly of Calabash, NC passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from complications of Covid-19.

Rick was born in Andrews, SC on September 21. 1946 and was a son of the late Lee Webster and Pearl Burgess Holley. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by three grandchildren and a sister, Gail Welty. He was a member of Highest Praise Church. Rick was a meat cutter for many years and was also a commercial fisherman.

Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Gloria Harriett Bennett Holley; children, Joshua Holley (Tabitha), Melony Latta (Keith Croom), Tammy Holley, Allison Holley Cruz, Timmy Holley; twenty three grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in the Highest Praise Church with Pastor Sherwood Lancaster officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Manley Bennett Cemetery, Calabash, NC.
