Rex Lee "Buddy" Inman, 61, of Ash, NC passed away on Sunday the twenty eighth of August 2022 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Bolivia, NC following a lengthy illness.

Born in Shelbyville, IN on the twentieth of May 1961, Buddy was the son of Carol Sue Sears Inman and the late Wilbur Brooks "Landon" Inman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Jane Inman.

Buddy spent many years working in the dredging business and worked for Cherokee, Cottrell and Norfolk Dredging companies. Buddy also worked for Simmons Logging & Trucking and Coastal Development.

Surviving are his mother, Carol Sue Sears Inman of Shallotte; his daughter, Tabitha Inman Townsend and husband Brian Townsend, Sr.; a sister, Rebecca Inman Strawn and husband Richard; and grandchildren, Brooke Townsend, Hailee Townsend, Riley-Grace Townsend and Brian Townsend, Jr.

A private family memorial will be held at a future date and time.
