Phillip James Ormsby, 69, of Oak Island, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Bolivia, NC.

Phill was born in Buffalo, NY on May 16, 1954, and was a son of the late David C. and Mary Benson Ormsby. In addition to his parents, a surviving brother Paul Ormsby.

Phill was a retired mechanic.  He enjoyed Riding his Harley, fishing on his boat and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his six beloved children,  Scott Ormsby (wife, Sangpuii) of Amherst, NY, Chris Ormsby Wiñlis, VA, Jill Farmer (husband James)of Oak Island, NC, Rae Thomas (husband Randy) of Buffalo, NY, PJ Ormsby of Tonawanda NY, Mary Ormsby of Niagara Falls, NY; Surviving grandchildren Alex, Gage, Tyler, Autumn, Kylie, Cadence, Layla, Zackary, Maya, Frankie, Nova. Great Grandchild Arlo.

A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
