Nina Pearl Long Evans, 86, of Ash, NC made her heavenly journey on Friday, the twenty sixth of November 2021. Born in Ash, NC on the third of August 1935 she was a daughter of the late Jesse W. "Buddy" Long and Lovie Smith Long. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thurman Evans.

She is survived by her son, Waddell Evans and wife Wanda; daughter, Betty Reichle; granddaughter, Crystal Azcona (Rudy); grandsons, Adam Evans (Cindy), Neal Evans (Karon); sisters, Becki Benton (Paul), Vicki Hufton; and stepmother, Annie Laura Long; four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pearl worked in the garment making business for many years, lastly managing the plant in Shallotte for Dale & Kathy Godshalk. She was an area champion biscuit maker for McDonalds in Shallotte and later at Bojangles. She was a loving and caring lady who loved her family, friends and most of all her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved making memories with her family.

Graveside services will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the New Life Cemetery, Exum Road, Ash with The Reverend DeWayne Griffin and The Reverend William Chappell officiating.

The family will be gathering at the home of Waddell & Wanda Evans at 5240 Myrtle Head Road, Ash, NC 28420
