Michael Ray McKeithan, age 52 of Bolivia, formerly of Ash, NC passed away on Tuesday the twelfth day of January 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare Center, Bolivia after a brief illness.

Michael was born in Whiteville, NC on the seventeenth day of September 1968 to Paul Hodges and Earline Hewett McKeithan of Shallotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie Dace and Mabel Carlisle McKeithan; maternal grandparents, Dave and Kathleen Hewett; uncles Doug and Lloyd McKeithan.

Michael was a handyman and enjoyed taking care of whatever needed to be done around the house. He was a "Jack of all trades".  Michael was happiest when he was fishing, hunting, gardening and tinkering with cars.

Surviving are his wife, Wendy Evans McKeithan; step-daughter, Alejandra "Alex" Ramos (Justin) of Leland; step-son, Victor Ramos (Natalie) of Georgia; step-grandchildren, Sky Murray, Keith Murray, Rose Murray, Hazel Crocker, Odette Steele; a special cousin, Angela Welch and his canine companion, "Mitzy".

A private graveside service will be held in the Griffin Cemetery, Ash, NC.
