Mary Jane Barr, age 80, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away on Monday the twenty eighth of December 2020 at her residence.

Born in Methuen, MA on the twenty third of February 1940, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Kathleen Wright Linehan. In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J Barr, siblings, Kathleen Kimball, Patricia Warren, John Linehan and Arleen Jean.

Mary Jane was a lady who loved her family and was known as the "Cool Nanny". She was very creative and loved making crafts, and was an accomplished floral designer.

Surviving are her children, Michael Edward Barr (Lisa) of Punta Gorda, FL, James Darrell Barr (Lecy) of Shallotte, NC, Scott David Barr (Lisa) of Danville, NH; a brother, Scott Gagnon and significant other Claire Ouellette of Salem, NH; four grandchildren, Mandy Cannon, Joshua Briggs, Connor Briggs, Hannah Barr; and six granddogs, Violet, Rosco, Dotti, Louie, Rollo and Luke.

Private family services will be held.
