Lynn Johnson Morey, age, 81, of Leland, NC passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, following a time of declining health.

Lynn was born in Atlanta, GA on August 30, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Hugh Walter and Iva Hester Ford, in addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, SFC Gordon LeRoy Morey, USA Retired.

Surviving is a Son; Kevin Blake of Utah, Daughters; Ashley J. Bailey and husband Jeff of Wilmington, NC, Laurie English and husband Terry of Wallce N.C., Christine Morey Pardue and husband Matthew of Wilmington NC: Step-children, Ret. CWO 5, Gordon LeRoy Morey, Jr., and wife Beth of Alaska, Grandchildren; Skylar English, Cheyenne Spivey, Franceska Blake, Ashley Blake, Kevin Blake, Ian Morey and wife Aly, Madison Morey; Great-grandchildren; Marley Clifton, Emory Kelly, and Kalista English

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home on 6898 Pinecliff Drive, NE, Leland, NC 28451.
