Lindsay Renee Musko Smoyak, 37, of Calabash, NC passed away on Wednesday, the seventeenth of August 2022 in the McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC following a brief illness.

Lindsay was born in Scranton, PA on Wednesday, the twenty fourth of October 1984 to Charles "Chuck" Musko, Jr., and Darlene Horox Gordon. Lindsay was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Georgette Musko.

She loved being outdoors, and spent much of her time enjoying the beautiful home that she and her loving husband built. Lindsay loved gardening, catching some sun by the pool while listening to her music. She also enjoyed camping and spending time with her cats Mungo and M.K. She was an accomplished equestrian and rode in the Hampton Classic Horse race.

Surviving are her husband of nine years, Mark Smoyak; her father, Chuck Musko, Jr.; her mother, Darlene H. Gordon; step-father, Michael Gordon; paternal grandfather, Joseph Musko; her two cats, Mungo and M.K.; and special friends, Christie Tucci, Larry Long, Kay Long, Carol and Craig Spicco.

A visitation with luminary service will be held from twelve noon until two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in the Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469.
