Larry Douglas Ellis age 66, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Sunday the twenty second of December 2019 at his residence.

Larry was born in Wilmington, NC on the sixth of May 1953 to the late Jasper Douglas Ellis and Annie Marie Faulk Ellis, of Wilmington, NC. He graduated from New Hanover High School and Southeastern Community College. Larry was retired from DuPont and was the owner of Trace Construction. He enjoyed watching the Carolina Panthers football and the Carolina Hurricanes hockey.

In addition to his father, Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda E. McNair.

Surviving are his mother Annie Marie Ellis, 91, of Wilmington, NC; a daughter, Shana Ellis McKoy, her children, Cameron, Kason, Christian Ellis of Wilmington; a son, Larry Michael Ellis and wife Shelby, their children, Jacob and Mason Ellis of Hampstead, NC.

A celebration of Larry's life will be conducted on Friday the tenth of January 2020 in the Trinity Reformed Presbyterian Church, 3801 Wilshire Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28403 at eleven o'clock in the morning with the Pastor Fred Hofland officiating.
