Kerry Lynn Hollinsworth, 46, of Leland, NC formerly of New York, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

Kerry was born in New Hyde Park, NY on November 24, 1977 and was a daughter of Barbara Clark Hollinsworth of Leland, and the late, Douglas Hollinsworth. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Wilbur Clark, her husband, Brian Bruning and a sister, Christine Hollinsworth.

Kerry earned a bachelor degree, and was a paralegal. She was a social butterfly and seemed to never meet a stranger.

Surviving are her mother, Barbara Hollinsworth of Leland; her maternal grandmother, Helen Clark; two beloved children, Colton and MacKenzie Bruning; a brother, Alexander Hollinsworth; and a host of extended family and friends too numerous to mention.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in New York.
