Kenneth Dale Cooke, 71, of Sunset Beach, NC formerly of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Sunday the tenth of May 2020 at his home.

Born in Fayetteville, NC on the thirtieth of May 1948, Kenneth was a son of the late Raymond McDuffie and Marie Theresa McLaughlin Cooke. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Graves Cooke in 2005; a brother, Ronald Mitchell Cooke; two sisters, Verna Lee York and Judy Culbreth.

Kenneth was a US Army and US Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam War. After his services in the military, he worked as an electrician and worked for Thompson's Electric, Watson Electric and then he and his wife Claudia worked several years for the Doran Berry family.

Surviving are his three sons, Allen Dale Cooke, Kenneth Troy Cooke and wife Kimberly all of Sunset Beach, NC, Claude Gene Cooke of Fayetteville, NC and one grandchild, Christian Cooke of Clarksville, TN.

Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, memorial services will be private.

In lieu of traditional remembrances the family requests with gratitude that donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project at P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
