Karen Sanders Goins, 75, of Wilmington, NC passed away on August 17, 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Traci L. Goins of Green Cove Springs, FL, and her son, Clayton W. Goins of Wilmington, NC as well as daughters-in-law Kimberly E. Fox and Susan C. Goins and grandson Chasen W. Goins.

Karen loved Western NC, particularly Asheville, and nurtured numerous plants and pets in her home over the years. She worked as a teacher and a nurse and was an avid reader. She will be remembered for her feisty spirit and wit.

No services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association.
