Julie Ann Patterson

Mrs. Julie Ann Patterson, 64, of Calabash, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, March 5, 2023.  Julie was born on July 5, 1958, in Southport, North Carolina.  Julie was preceded in death by her father and mother, James "Fred" and Shelda "Teddy" Hickman, and sister Sarah Gurganus.  Julie was a beloved member of Andrews Chapel Church at Hickman's Crossroads.

Julie is survived by her husband, Jeff Patterson; son, Justin; daughter, Jessica; stepson, Holden Patterson; brother Freddie Hickman; special brother, Ricky Tompkins; special sister, Pam Boyd; and grandchildren, Kyleigh, Knox, Kensley, and Holden.  Julie also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and countless friends who knew her as, "Mama J."

A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, conducted by Reverend Phil Norris and Reverend John Bracey.
