Juanita Bland Sharp, 70, of Longwood, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Born in Whiteville, NC on May 30, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Bradley and Annie Belle Inman Bland. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Michael Sharp, siblings, Hazel Clemmons, Vernice Bland, Billy Bland and Eugene Bland.

Juanita worked for many years as a CNA, and she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and attended the Lighthouse Mission Church.

Surviving are her sisters, Keiver Tatum, Rosa Young, Pearl Todd and husband William; She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the McKeithan Cemetery, Ash, NC with pastor Larry Ward officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Tatum, Jacob Clemmons, Gary Clemmons, Bill Carte, Nowlin Bland and Nicholas Todd.
