Jonathan Matthew "Matt" Bozeman, 47, of Shallotte, NC passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Matt was born in Wilmington, NC on the twenty fifth of August 1974 and was the son of Pamela Tompkins Boyd and the late Gary Bozeman. In addition to his father, Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, N.L. & Betty Gray Bozeman; maternal grandparents, Trent and Weezie Tompkins; an aunt, Ruby Jane Bozeman and his brother-in-spirit, Trey Silver.

Matt graduated from West Brunswick High School and attended NC State University. He had been a land surveyor and worked for Tompkins Land Surveying.

Surviving are his mother, Pamela Tompkins Boyd and husband Joey; his wife Sage Christine Huddleston; a sister, Denise Bozeman Dixon and husband Jeremy; a step-mother, Pam Watkins; maternal grandmother, Shirley M. Tompkins; Aunts, Christa Tompkins, Sharon Fox and husband Ray; uncles, Rick Tompkins and wife Diane, Troy Bozeman, Greg Dixon ; step-brother Jeremy Grainger; and his canine friend "Foxy".

Memorial services will be conducted at one O'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church, 1090 Hickman Road,  Calabash, NC with the Reverend John Bracey officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Christian Tompkins, Nicholas, Scott Taylor, Matt Shreve, Tony Shreve, Moses Frazier, and Jeremy Grainger.
