John Earl Selent,  of Holliston, MASS., passed away peacefully, Friday, March 28, 2025, after a brief illness.

John was born in Framingham, MA on October 28, 1959. He was one of five children of  James Otto Selent and Mildred Flanders Selent. John was predeceased by a sister Judy Selent.

John was a kindred spirit who made connections with people and a impact wherever he went. His character was unwavering and he always stayed true to himself and his beliefs.

Surviving are his wife of 32+ years, Alfreda Wheeler Selent; his two sons, James A. Selent and William S. Selent and wife Brandi Wines Selent; two brothers, David Selent, Paul Selent; and a sister, Carol Samualson.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
