John Thomas Chavis, age 66, of Autumn Care of Shallotte passed away on Saturday the twenty fourth of October 2020 in the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC.

John was born in Hamlet, NC on the ninth of September 1954 and was a son of the late Lois and Kitty Mae Patrick Chavis of Rockingham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Nicole Chavis.

Surviving are a brother, Bob Scott Chavis (Brandy) of Rockingham, NC; two sisters, Lois Lee "Sue" Chavis of Shallotte, NC and Martha Ann Chavis Griggs of North Myrtle Beach, SC and many nieces and nephews.
