Jerry Otis Babson, 65, of Lake Waccamaw, NC formerly of Shallotte passes away on Monday, March 13, 2023, in Premier Living and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy decline in his health.

Jerry was born in Brunswick County, on April 3, 1957, to the late James Bryant and Sudie Mae Griffin Babson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Silas Warren Babson, James "Ogal" Babson, Jackie Lane Babson, sisters, Martha Dean Fowler, Betty Jane Smith, and Rebecca Ann Long.

Survivors include his daughters, Victoria B. Harden (Scott) of Bolivia, NC, Rebecca Milliken; stepson, Charles Allred; siblings, Steve Babson (Debbie), Jerry Babson, Willie Babson, Richard Babson (Teresa), Lynda Babson, and Barbara Evans (Cecil); and grandchildren, Trinity Campbell, Elijah Milliken, Grace Allred, James Allred, Matthew Harden, Caleb Harden, Jerry Harden, Zachary Harden.
