Janice Faye Jones Gore age 59 of Shallotte, passed away on Wednesday the eleventh of March 2020 after a nine-year battle with cancer. Janice was a beautiful lady who captured the hearts of anyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Her alluring smile and gentle nature will always be remembered. She worked for the Duke Energy Power Plant in several capacities as long as she was able to work.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of thirty-eight years, Philip M. Gore of the home; two loving sons, Christopher Philip Gore and Michael Sterling Gore of the home and a stepfather, Douglas Williams.

Memorial services are postponed until it is deemed safe to attend public events and we will announce details at that time. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of calls,  the many act of kindness, food and especially the prayers. May God bless you all.
