James Bryce "J.B." Wright, age 78, of Supply, NC died on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Moore County, NC on December 2, 1943, he was a son of the late Carl Lee and Mabel Voncannon Wright. In addition to his parents, JB was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Gurganus, Hilda Edwards and Darrell Lee Wright.

Mr. Wright was an active deacon of Supply Baptist Church and was retired after 48 years in transmission powerline construction.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Elaine Clemmons Wright; a step-son, Brad Sellers and wife YoYo Chen of Taipei, Taiwan; three grandchildren, Crisha Paveligo, Hannah Holmes  both of Augusta, GA, Cullen Sellers, of Westminster, CO; two great-grandchildren, Stella Elaine & Jameson of Augusta; a brother, William E. Wright of Asheboro; ten nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Gwen Causey, Julie Robinson of Supply.

Mrs. Elaine and the family wishes to extend a special thank you to hospice nurses, Jelesa and Kristy for the special care shown to JB.

Memorial services will be conducted at twelve o'clock noon on Friday, January 28, 2022 in the Supply Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Rave officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The Deacons of Supply Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Supply Baptist Church, PO Box 15, Supply, NC 28462.
