James Wilton "Jamie" Hunt, Jr., age 51 of Shallotte, NC passed away suddenly on Sunday the seventh of November 2021 at his residence.

Jamie was born in Whiteville, NC on the fifth of April 1970 to the late Joyce Sealey Hunt & James W. Hunt, Sr. He was a electrician and worked for Current Electric of Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

Surviving are his life partner, Dana Hughes; step-son Ethan Brooks; sisters, Debbie Nance and husband David of Chadbourn, NC, Jan B. Long of Fair Bluff, NC, Miriam Hunt of Sarasota, Fl, Martha Henderson and husband James of Leland, NC and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday the thirteenth of November 2021 at two o'clock in the afternoon in Soldier Bay Baptist Church, Ash, NC with The Reverend Jason L. Benton officiating.

The family requests with gratitude that donations be made in in his memory to St. Jude at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
