Gerald Francis Gardner, 83, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care, "Angel House", Whiteville, NC following a time of declining health.

A loving father and brother, born in Hartford County, CT, on October 18, 1941, He was a son of the late Francis and Amanda Jarvis Gardner.

He was a proud US Army veteran and was retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 35 years.

Surviving are a brother David Gardner (Nancy), a son, Michael Gerald Gardner (fiancée Sherry Stanley), a daughter, Susan Denise Long (Bobby Joel), Grandchildren, Shawn Gardner (fiancée Elana), Ethan Gardner, Kassidy Long and Mason Long.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm in Celebration of Life at the home of Susan Long 339 Sea Turtle Drive Myrtle Beach, SC.
