Frank Joseph Sancibrian, Jr. ,  92, passed away on January 30, 2024 in Southport, NC. He was born on November 12, 1931 to Frank and Frances (Baldwin) Sancibrian. He attended Barre Schools and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1949. Frank was considered one of the best knuckleball pitchers in the area. He was also an accomplished football player in high school and was center on his team. On October 19, 1957 he married Margaret "Tucky" Sancibrian. He and Tucky resided in Barre most of their life. After retirement, they spent many years in Longs, SC where they lived on a golf course. They were married for 57 years until Tucky's passing on January 23, 2014. Frank had been employed as a district sales manager for many years at Coca-Cola Bottling Company. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing, watching baseball, especially his favorite team the NY Yankees, and old westerns, particularly Gunsmoke. He was also very meticulous about his lawn care. Golf was his passion that continued throughout his life. Besides golf, he had a sincere love for animals, especially for all the dogs that became family members, with Jessie being his all-time favorite. Frank had a hearty laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a member of Northfield Country Club in Vermont as well as Colonial Charters Golf Club in Longs, SC. A veteran of the United States Army, he served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Frank leaves his son Norman Sancibrian and his wife Valerie of Oak Island, NC, his daughter Laurie Shralow of Marlton, NJ. His grandchildren, Anthony Sancibrian(Mary), Garett Cody (Rachel), Matt Shralow and Samantha Shralow. His two great grandchildren, Chloe and Carter Cody. Also surviving are three brothers and their spouses, Richard and Lona Sancibrian, Alan and Sherry Sancibrian, Bill and Sheryl Sancibrian and his only sister and her spouse, Theresa and Steve Webster and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents' and his wife Tucky, he was predeceased by brothers' Wallace Sancibrian and Joseph Sancibrian.

A service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM, in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a local animal shelter or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being made by Fulwood Funeral Services.
