Francis Henry "Frank" Daum, Jr., 80, of Calabash, NC passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at his home with family by his side. Frank was born in Huntington, NY, on Saturday, November 22, 1941 to the late Francis H and Marguerite Daum. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Bradley Scott Daum. Frank earned his bachelor's degree and began a career with Grumman Aerospace where he retired after over 24 years of service. He then worked for Emtrol Corporation for several years. Frank loved cars and was a long-time member of the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club as well as the Northrop Grumman Retirees Club.

Surviving are his loving wife of fifty-four years, Kathleen Daum; a daughter, Kimberly Besser and husband Paul of Calabash, NC; a daughter-in-law, Leslie Daum Whitney of MD; grandchildren, Maggie Weidner of NY, Brooke Daum and Landon Daum both of MD.

A celebration of Frank's life is being planned and will be held on November 19th, 2022 at the Brunswick House located in the Brunswick Plantation at 382 Brunswick Drive, Calabash, NC 28467 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
