Eva Jean King, age 59 of Shallotte, NC passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care, "Brunswick House" following a time of declining health.

Eva was born on July 28, 1964, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Mary Margaret Schaeffer Gillen. In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her first spouse, Bob Cummings; two children, Robin Cummings, John Cummings; three siblings, Charles Gillen Jr, Brenda and George Gillen.

Eva was co-owner of Three Kings Linen Service.

Surviving are her husband, Rex King of the home; a son, Casey W. King; and siblings, Gerry Shaffer, Martha M. Giffin, Anne Gillen, Bill Gillen and Bob Gillen.
